2020 End of Year Message from LPI

Dear friends of LPI,

As 2020 draws to a close, and we enter what is usually a festive season for many around the world, I want to take the opportunity to express to each and every one of you my deepest appreciation for how you have supported the work of the Life & Peace Institute, whether as a partner, a donor, a collaborator or well-wisher.

This year has been a difficult one, as we have struggled to overcome a pandemic, and also seen increased conflict and tensions across the world, and particularly in the regions where LPI supports peacebuilding processes.  But we have also been very blessed to have the opportunity, with the support of our partners and donors, as well as the creativity of our incredible staff, to adapt and adjust our programmes to the evolving situation. We have greatly appreciated your support and understanding during this difficult year.

I want to at this time also share with you our Highlights report.

This is usually a season of celebration of hope and light for many religious and nonreligious people.  This year, remembering the light is even more poignant, especially in the dark Uppsala season, as we come to the close of 2020 and look with hope to the future.

I wish each and everyone of you a peaceful and blessed holiday, as you celebrate in your different traditions and faiths, and I look forward to a 2021 of hope and light, and continued partnership.

Warm regards,

Judy
