Public lecture with Séverine Autesserre Tuesday, May 5, 15.15 to 17.00

Séverine Autesserre is an Associate Professor of Political Science, specialising in international relations and African studies, at Barnard College, Columbia University (USA). Dr. Autesserre works on civil wars, peacebuilding, peacekeeping, humanitarian aid, and African politics. Before becoming an academic, Autesserre worked for humanitarian and development agencies in Afghanistan, Kosovo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nicaragua and India.

We are happy to announce that on Tuesday May 5, Dr. Autesserre will present her latest book Peaceland: Conflict Resolution and the Everyday Politics of International Intervention. Lecture will take place from 15.15 to 17.00 at The Nordic Africa Institute, Uppsala.
