Today is a historic day. While LPI is celebrating 35 years since its inception at the Christian World Conference on Life and Peace (April 20th-24th, 1983), the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is convening in Backåkra in southern Sweden to discuss how to improve the United Nations’ efforts to strengthen and promote peace around the world.
